The work describes the development of a board game about environmental education, which encourages the use of active methodologies by the teacher, through games that involve play and learning; awakening in students the interest and satisfaction of participating, playing and learning. The focus of the research is the application of the game entitled: “Quiz da Trilha Ambiental” for elementary school students at a school in Recife-PE. The study seeks to highlight that through play associated with teaching-learning, they can reproduce this awareness, through changes to sustainable habits, respecting the environment, thanks to the knowledge acquired from the game. The results of applying the product demonstrated that students have difficulties in learning environmental education, which needs to be worked on more transversally in classes. The “game” product had a high degree of acceptance and satisfaction among students.
