Hardly persecuted, homoaffectivity people suppressed and still suppress their desires. Currently, the LGBTQIA+ community has achieved some citizenship rights, but there is still fear of regression and constantly suffers from attacks by prejudiced groups. This article presents a brief discussion on some works of Brazilian Literature that discuss the heme of homoaffectivity. The work is the result of a qualitative bibliographical research, starting with a historical overview of homosexuality in Brazil, from the colony to the present day; moving on to a discussion about the concepts of homoaffection and/or homoeroticism, which discusses how relationships between people of the same sex are yet another manifestation of human desire; and then, some Brazilian works themed around homoaffectivity are debated and analyzed.
Keywords: Homoaffectivity. Homoeroticism. LGBTQIA+. Brazilian literature.
