Refletindo com Weber sobre a questão do método nas Ciências Sociais

Abstract

O texto se propõe a examinar os principais aspectos metodológicos do paradigma weberiano de explicação do social. Segundo o autor, pela riqueza de sua análise e pelo caráter um tanto polêmico de suas afirmações, a retomada da leitura de Weber se configura como um passo útil para que se repense, no dia-a-dia dos trabalhos da pesquisa, a natureza da relação sujeito e objeto do conhecimento, seus limites e ambigüidades. *********************************************** The text sets out to examine the main methodological features of Weber’s paradigm of explication of the social. According to the author, a retum to the reading of Weber, on account of the richness of his analysis and the somewhat polemical character of his assertions, represents a useful step towards rethinking, in the daily routine of research work, the nature of the relationship between the subject and object of knowledge, its limits and its ambiguities.
